Work on Historic ship PS Waverley Progresses

Work on the historic ship PS Waverly continues slowly as the new boilers and upgrades to the electrical systems take place.

Last year the vessel had to be taken out of service due to problems with its boilers. A huge charity appeal was undertaken to raise the funds required to replace the boiler which weren’t able to be repaired. The owners also decided to carry out other engineering works while the vessel was out of service to ensure that this important piece of maritime heritage will run for many years yet.
