Get involved in World Oceans Day and help save our oceans.

Today is World Oceans day. An initiative started in 1992 to show people how they could help raise awareness and protect our Oceans. 

For decades various marine research organisations around the globe have and continue to carry out vital work in understanding the issues, how they affect our oceans and what can be done.

For 30 years the SS Explorer took part in that work, which has passed on to her much more advanced descendants.
